My research specialization is in the area of sexual and romantic relationships and integrates the domains of social, developmental, and health psychology. The driving force behind my research is an interest in exploring the social scripts, cognitive schemas, and other frameworks that we use to make sense of our interpersonal relationships, as well as understanding how these frameworks evolve during critical developmental periods (e.g., transition to parenthood, emerging adulthood), and predict sexual and relationship well-being.

I am currently a SSHRC and IWK funded postdoctoral fellow (2016 - 2018) working in the Couples and Sexual Health Lab at Dalhousie University.
